Beyond the grand doors of Reading's historic Town Hall, Count Dracula himself has put on a party that nobody will ever forget. Follow our horrible cast of characters back in time to the European 1800's, where grand organs play hauntingly through the night. You'll spot villains and friends alike, with Frankenstein's monster and his wife welcoming you to the throng of our spectacular guests. Stay a while, enjoy the wine, as Dracula's personal butler introduces you to his grand performances on the amazing antique stage.

The evening opened with no less than the maestro Luke Bond playing eerie tunes on the Father Willis Organ. Luke was the Organist for the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, when his playing was heard by an estimated television audience of 57 million in the UK and USA alone. What a privilege to have him play just for us!

We were then mesmerized by tenebrous dances from Despoina Kentrou and Evangelos Delivopoulos from the Reading University Tango Society - RUTS, and heard the haunting voice of local opera singer Harriet Kirk, bringing the Phantom of the Opera to life. That stunning voice and those dancing shadows will be haunting the Town Hall and our memories for a long time...

From Frankenstein & his bride to twisted circus freaks, the spellbinding duo of Eilidh Hoop and Chris Clayton had us captivated over their amazing performances. We held our breaths watching their epic acrobatic act to the live organ, and were hypnotized by the incredible LED hula hoop display.

The devilish dandies and international DJ duo The Roustabouts carried out their uncanny craft and got us dancing all evening to vintage remixes and current and classic guilty pleasures. And our wicked MC and host Gareth Warren led us through the Mansion and kept the energy flowing during the ball!
